It’s the weekend so relax, put your feet up, and watch a recap of our PreMarket Prep guests who joined us on the show this week with opinions, trade ideas and market commentary.

We have another full slate of guests joining us next week from Monday, so don’t forget to tune into PreMarket Prep live every morning from 8 am ET on YouTube and X.

Kicking off the week was Tim Quast, Founder and CEO of Market Structure EDGE to talk about an SEC roundtable he was included in on Thursday in Washington regarding 24-hour trading. He was invited by Jamie Selway, the SEC’s head of trading and markets, specifically to represent public-company/issuer interests. He also discussed ETF mechanics and tokenization and gave us his stocks in his “Focus Fives” model portfolio.

Tim Quast Monday:

JR Romero of Momentum Express at T3 Live noted on Tuesday that the market rotation is extreme. JR explained how patterns follow sentiment, not the reverse and talked about the biggest mistake when chasing fast movers.

JR Romero Tuesday:

The King of Ticker Time, Tony Pawlak, owner and coach at Real Life Trading joined us on Wednesday to give us his expert technical analysis on a huge range of stocks including $BWET $AVGO $DXYZ $GME $NBIS and many more.

Tony Pawlak, Wednesday:

Scott ‘Cow Guy’ Shellady, Host of ‘The Cow Guy Close’ on RFD–TV was kind enough to join us early on Thursday to discuss the Fed’s rate hike and initial market reaction. He also explained why he’s bullish and “all-in” on AI.

Cow Guy Thursday:

We had a double dose of guests on Friday with Blu Putnam, Chief Economist at the Stock Trader Network joining us for his weekly segment to talk about the path forward for the Fed after the rate hike. We also got an update on his Prediction-Market Portfolio. He built an NFL power-ranking model based entirely on Kalshi prediction-market pricing—completely ignoring traditional on-field performance stats.

Blu Putnam Friday:

Later on Friday morning the PreMarket Prep team also spoke to Craig Johnson, CFA, Managing Director & Chief Market Technician at Piper Sandler. Craig talked about the energy sector which he felt was still being ignored, and also gave us a bold call on $META saying it’s, “among the stronger looking names in the Mag 7 space.” Craig also dove into cybersecurity stocks, fresh from a Piper Note: $CRWD $PANW $ZS $NTSK $UI.
