The S&P 500 rose 0.31% to 7,714.52 on Tuesday, extending its recovery for a second consecutive session as easing oil prices and lower Treasury yields helped offset pressure in tech stocks.

December S&P 500 futures traded as high as 7,791.50 and as low as 7,704.50. The session concluded above the day’s midpoint of 7,748.00 at 7,763.00, gaining 28.50 handles from the prior close of 7,734.50.
